"My mom introduced me to this. I used to pick at my face all the time and agitate my skin, leading to lots of breakouts. I'm a grad student without a lot of money but decided I would splurge on this product and use it as a reward system to stop picking my face. It makes my skin feel so nice that I don't want to mess it up by touching my face. Within days, I could already notice a difference in the way it calmed my skin and improved my skin tone. It feels so luxurious and is probably the best luxury I could have invested in."

"I purchased a combo pack with Dr. Weil's face serum and plantidote cream. What a great choice!! I put on the serum, wait a minute or two and put on the face cream. My skin just glows and feels great. I live in a dry climate and when I use the cream, my face feels soft and happy all day. I seldom even have to use foundation over it!!"

"I love my Plantidote mega mushroom face cream, makes my skin feel hydrated without being oily. I have Rosacia and this really calms my skin. It makes my skin feel so soft, the best its been in years. Tried so many different products from $$ to $$$$ and non of them worked like this. I usually broke out when trying a new product, but not with Origins products."

"I love this stuff! It smells earthy and clean and not perfumey, which is a plus in my book. I feel like I've visited a spa after I use it. A little goes a long way, which is good because it's the priciest moisturizer they have (I think) but I think it's worth it. I've never broken out because of this and it's very soothing."

"For anyone who suffers from Rosacea (reddening of the skin, eruptions, etc.), the entire line of Plantidote products is extremely helpful. I was concerned that I would need to have a surgical procedure done to relieve the almost purple redness that has started appearing on my sensitive cheeks during the past few years. However, I started using the line of Plantidote products--including the mask--and now I only have occasional break outs. Then I begin to use the mask more, and they go away. It looks like I will not have to have any procedures done!! I use the face cream both day and night to help moisturize my skin. It has never made me break out, which is unusual for my skin."

"This is the best night cream for dry, sensitive, irritated skin. My skin is very dry and patchy in the winter. This helped calm the red patches and hydrate my dry skin. I would recommend to anyone that has dry skin but especially those with sensitive skin. I did not breakout from this."

"I used the Plantidote Face Cream and Cleanser for about 3 months before finally giving up. My skin broke out, I became oily only a few hours after applying the moisturizer, and my skin became even more sensitive. It is more expensive than other creams and cleansers in the Origins line that have been much more effective for my sensitive skin. I recommend asking for a sample size to try it out before buying the full size products. This is the first Origins product line I have not liked."

"I'm 27, and for years, I avoided washing my face with anything but water (unless I happened to wear makeup) because even in the summer, my skin would crack and peel. I've been through every product line, at every counter in Macy's and this is the first moisturizer I have used that works on my dry skin. (And finally! I have a moisturizer that doesn't smell like deodorant or perfume!)
I do admit it's a bit pricy, but one jar has lasted me over a year, which for me, makes it well worth the cost."

"I have been using Mega Mushroom moisturizer for the past year or so. I always avoided this particular line because of the prices, but now I know it's definitely worth the price! I've had this jar for a little over a year, and still have some left!
I'm 24, and I still have acne all over my face, and redness around my nose (probably mild rosacea). Those two problems have always been an insecurity for me, plus, my skin is sensitive, oily, and dry. This product has significantly reduced the redness in my skin. I can't believe I ever survived without it!
I simply cannot express how much I love this product! If you find that you're trying to talk yourself from buying this little jar of heaven, buy it anyway!"

"This is a nice cream to wear under makeup, at night or under sunblock. It doesn't have a strong odor and is abundant - a little goes a long way. A lot isn't needed. Just a bit and it spreads on your face. Keeps tone even. A nice product for "green" living."

"Occasionaly, I do use the lotion version instead. But this is the best. It works better than anything my dermatologist has given me. If I sunburn my skin or have an acne breakout or rosacia flare up it calms the burn, and relieves redness. From time to time I have tried to cut costs by trying something cheaper and I always regret it!! The only drawback is my hubbie hates the smell - which I kinda like - and it dissipates quickly anyway. A jar lasts me at least 3-4 months (maybe 2 with the lotion version) so it's not that expensive. If you have sensitive skin I would never recomend anything but this. Love it.!!!"

"I have everything wrong with my face -- I'm 29 and I still haven't outgrown pimples, but I'm already getting those fine lines around the eyes and mouth. Plus I've got tons of scars from battling years of acne. This stuff fixes it ALL! I haven't had Plantidote for awhile, because I ran out and bought Perfect World instead to save some money. PW was great, but it was NO Plantidote! It only prevented new damage. Plantidote prevents new damage and corrects years of old damage. Last spring, after using it all winter I met up with friends I hadn't seen in a while -- the first thing they told me was my skin looked amazing. This stuff is worth the $60!"

"I am 23 and I have always had sensitive, acne prone skin (very active acne). My face was constantly red and I had cystic acne and after using this product along with the cleanser and the serum my skin has made a 180 degree turn for the better. My skin feels and looks great! I love the smell it's as if I was getting a facial every time. The redness is gone for the most part and my blemishes have disappeared!!! How did I struggle for so long??
