"I was skeptical about this serum, even though I was already hooked on the face cream and cleanser. It's pretty costly, and I wasn't convinced I needed the extra step. A friendly salesperson sent me home with a sample to try, and I was impressed by two things: that the serum in fact did seem to increase the calming effects the Plantidote products had on my skin, and that a tiny sample lasted far longer than I expected (as the salesperson promised it would). I now include the serum in my regular routine, and although it's pricey, a bottle lasts me so long that I'm left feeling my money is definitely well-spent."

"Love love love! BEST product out there to help you "keep the tan". My skin feels amazing afterwards (use with Plantidote™ Mega-Mushroom Face Cleanser). This product is essential to anyone who likes the sun in the summer! Absorbs quickly into my skin - not remotely oily. Couldn't rave enough about this product! Keeps my post-vacation glow for many weeks and helps prevent peeling!!"

"I'm 46 and take very good care of my skin; always have. I visit my Dermatologist regularly as well. But still, I've come down with bouts of Acne Sists, Dermatitis and most recently Rosacea. The Rosacea decided to erupt 6 mos. ago and I was so uncomfortable with the burning, swelling and also the overall feeling of fright when looking in the mirror at myself. I ran to my Dermatologist and he prescribed me all the standard remedies... But none of them seemed to work. I was desperate and searched on line for answers, but only found what I had already tried. This product line never popped up in any of my searching. At this point, I thought all was lost and I'd just have to live with Rosacea.
But by some stroke of luck, a Co-worker of mine mentioned your line. She had heard about it through word of mouth, and new that it helped to quiet symptoms such as mine.
I went out that very day and got a sample of this serum to try. The effects for me were almost immediate. I used it that very night and the next morning I awoke to calm and clear skin. I couldn't believe it. I was so excited, I was practically jumping up and down. I continued to use the serum both morning and night. And then I went back and got the Mushroom facial cleanser to go along with the serum. I have never been so thankful for any particular skin care product. But I have not had ANY problem with redness or swelling, since starting on this program.
Not only that, I have noticed that these products also work on the lines that are starting to develop from age. I haven't tried it around my eye area, but my smile lines and those that started to form around the mouth area have definitely improved and softened since using these products.
I can not thank Dr. Weil enough for his research and for putting out such wonderful and natural skin care products. I am SO APPRECIATIVE and will be recommending this line to everyone I know!!!!!!"

"I have rosacea and have tried many different prescription and OTC products to relieve the redness and irritation. This line of products is the only thing that has helped. For me, it took many months of use before I saw a difference, but I can now go out make-up free for the first time in years without people asking if I'm sunburned. Strangers have even complimented me on what great skin I have!"

"I have eczema and sensitive skin issues, and it is so nice to find items that are not prescription products that help to calm some of the redness I get on my cheeks - especially during the winter months. Plus, I think the product smells great! It's so refreshing to find products that are sensitive skin-friendly that even have a smell, much less a very pleasant one! I do have an oily T-zone, and this serum doesn't add to that problem, either. It just leaves your skin feeling very smooth."

"This serum is always with me. I am currently in Iraq and I still can't go without it. When I first started using it I couldn't stand the smell, and didn't see major results but after about ten days my skin had changed completely. My skin was clearer and much smoother. The smell isn't a major issue because it's masked by my moisturizer. Get this serum!"

"This serum is very, very soothing. It clears up redness and irritation almost instantaneously. It smells earthy, like the rest of the Dr. Andrew Weil stuff, but I like that because it reminds me of a spa. If you have sensitive skin, it's a godsend. I'm running out of it (sadface!) so I only use it when absolutely necessary... it's worth every last drop!"

"After getting a free facial, this product was recommended along with several others for my new skin care routine. I'm in my late 20's now, and honestly never took great care of my skin beyond using acne cleansers. Now that I'm starting to, the tone and texture of my skin really bothers me, but this serum works! I've been using this with Brighter by Nature and Modern Friction, and am totally hooked. At first I was really put off by the very expensive price of the serum, but only one pump is sufficient, and it's lasting me a while. But the most important part is the way my face feels! My skin has never felt so soft and smooth, better than it's EVER felt (so much so that I keep touching it, I can't believe it). Because I started on several new products at the same time, I didn't realize that this was helping until I stopped using it for a few days to try something else. Never again! This truly improves the quality of your skin and I will keep using it. This is helping to repair years of neglect to my skin. Try it before being turned off by the price!"

"My acne problem has always been less related to dryness/oil clogging pores and more the hormonal type - the large painful ones that come up from within the skin and may or may not come to a head and get red and inflamed. I tried changing my skin regimen a million times, tried blue light treatment, spot treatments, erythromycin, you name it - nothing worked. I was going to give up on topical treatments but decided to go with the calming mask and was given a sample of the serum - after just a few days my skin is already clearer and more healthy looking than it has been for years! I never thought something could actually reduce redness the way this serum does, it is well worth the money and you don't need too much of it. When my sample runs out, I am running to my nearest origins store and getting more. I personally like the earthy smell of the plantidote line. I cannot think of a single negative except that this product is not advertised more adequately!"

"I love Origins products, and this serum is by far my favorite of all my Origins purchases. I have almost the complete line of Plantidote. The serum is very lightweight and goes on smoothly, unlike the cream. My skin feels so plump and supple after application of the serum. I like to use it day and night. It really moisturizes like no other product I've ever tried, even with the dry winter months! It doesn't clog my pores and make my skin appear oily/shiny like other products."
