"I know I am truly in the minority but I couldn't stand the smell. I was really looking forward to trying this Origins favorite. There is nothing wrong with the cream itself but the smell is so overpowering! I was hoping for a more subtle scent but what I got was something so strong and, honestly, made me so conscious that I would be stinking like ginger to anyone who came close to me!
I had sent an Origins gift set to my sister for her birthday and this was the only product in it that she didn't like. I told her to save it for me but after trying it for myself, she's also going to have to find a new home for it!"

"My skin has a habit of reacting negatively to a number of scented moisturizers out there (especially Bath & Body Works items), but I adore this whipped body cream from Origins. Like everything else Origins makes with their signature "ginger" scent, this product smells divine! I don't think there's a product out there that feels better on freshly shaven legs than Origins' whipped body cream. Also, like numerous other Origins products, a little of this stuff goes a long way so it's worth the price. Do yourself a favor if you purchase this product and also purchase the "Incredible Spreadable Scrub™ Ginger body smoother.""

"I have tried many different moisturizers to fight my dry skin during the winter months, but I have to say that the Ginger Souffle has made it so easy to keep moisturized! It smells wonderful and a little of it goes a long way!!! Just wish that I could buy a huge container of it to put in each bathroom in my house!!!"

"I knew Ginger helps with inflammation but what this cream is doing to my skin is out of this world. My cellulite is almost gone I do believe it is the ginger working its magic. My husband hates the smell though but my cream comes first. I deserve to treat this body well and with the best."

"I really like the smell, and it feels like a dream on the skin. However, there can be too much of a good thing, and the smell is really, really strong. My brother comes into my room to complain whenever i put it on because he can smell it from another part of the house. I do love the smell, but a lighter version would be a great product!"

"This is a nice, light body lotion, but the smell is too pungent for my tastes, and, sadly, too fake--like candied ginger instead of the root itself. I expect better of Origins! Their stuff usually smells GREAT, or at least natural. On the plus side, it soaks into the skin really quickly."
