"As with everything else, I was skeptical to try this mineral foundation. Firstly, I was afraid that powder foundation would make me look chalky and it would be obvious that I am wearing makeup. So I've always opted for liquid foundation. One day I read about the goodness of mineral makeup and decided to give this a try. The price is affordable (unlike some other foundation brands) and it has SPF 14 which I absolutely love. What more, it is packed with good-for-skin ingredients -gojiberry (come on, this is a rare berry and i know i'm getting something good), oatmeal, and vitamins. It can't go wrong.
I went into the store today and the lady swiped this foundation onto my face. I felt like a star and liked how I looked after. It didn't look like I was wearing makeup at all, it was me - only better! It's so light, my skin can breathe easy (unlike how I feel when I'm wearing Stay Tuned) and I feel good wearing it! It says it can soothe the skin and make it glow if used frequently, and I am looking forward to that!"

"this really is the only mineral make up I can use! Everything else tends to break my skin out or make my skin look shiny. This product looks so natural when you put it on and it gives great coverage when applied with a foundation brush. I was skeptical that this was going to make my skin look better, but it really did! I noticed an improvement after a couple weeks of use. Definately try this product, you will love it"

"I have been using another popular mineral make up for quite some time, but decided to give this a try. I love it!! And im sticking to it. It gives a perfect amount of coverage. Not to much but not too little, plus its buildable in case you do want more coverage. It lasts ALL day, and is so light. I forget im wearing makeup. It also calms the skin, and i can actually see an improvement in my complexion. I only wish they would carry more shades."

"This product has a nice concept however, not great for coverage AT ALL. I am very familiar with using mineral makeup. I wanted to try something with different ingredients, so I tried the Origins one. But, this was a big ZERO for me. It was also way too grainy. I didn't feel it blended into my skin. It felt more like the product was crumbling off my face when I was trying to buff it in. I think the idea of having rich nutrients in a makeup is great... but, not if it doesn't cover. If you need something for dark spots, discoloration, redness ect., this isn't the product to look for. I went back to my very popular, (and great) old mineral make."

"This foundation is by far the best foundation/mineral makeup I have ever used. I didn't think it would work and the color looked very dark for my fair/yellowish pale skin. But it's a perfect match(Light)! The coverage is excellent. It really covers my uneven skin and acne marks. Using this makeup not only looks great but when I take my makeup off my skins clarity is so clear and smooth. I love that this makeup not only looks good while on and covers but is actually working with my skin in making it look and feel better! I will buy this product again and again. It's light feeling but covers all my imperfections, it's the perfect finish (not too matte and not too glowy) A very natural finish. It looks like I have perfect skin, not perfect makeup covering me, but perfect youthful skin. I love this!!!"

Diminishes My Large Pores

"I have some large pores around my nose, and most foundations sink in and highlight those pores. This mineral powder is the best that I've tried for my oily skin. I use a small amount of concealer in a few places before I apply this powder, and the result is very natural looking. Also, I can reapply this quickly after work if I have another appointment."

"This product is very light weight and feels nice going on, but the coverage is minimum. If you have large flaws or red areas you'd like to cover, this product will not cover them.

"I have always loved Origins products, but this one was a big let down. They say that it has "variable coverage" but it takes a lot of powder to build up the coverage a normal foundation would provide. With that in mind, you also get a very small amount of product for the money that you pay. All in all, it is not worth the money."

"This product is lovely, except that I have rather large pores and when I put it on (over moisturizer), my pores become more, not less, visible. It does have a nice "natural" feel to it. Perhaps it would work better for me over a foundation, but on its own, the coverage is very limited and actually makes my skin look worse, close-up."

"I have been wearing silk screen for years, but because of dry weather I couldn't anymore. I have tried mineral makeup before, but didn't like the look or feel, and I realy don't like wearing liquid foundation. This makeup is great, it doesn't dry out my skin, and it is buildable so I can cover up blemishes. Plus it has an SPF, which is really nice. I have received so many compliments on my makeup since I started wearing it a month ago. I will definitely be buying this again. The only concern I have about this product is that it probably isn't very good for people with oily skin because after several hours it tends to look shiny in oily areas. This is why I am giving it only 4 stars. *Note: The colors look darker than they actually are. I am light skinned and thought I would have to wear the lightest color, but when I tried the colors on, the medium worked best. As I get a little lighter in the winter I'll buy a med/light."

"I am a skin/makeup fanatic and I am very careful about what I put on my face. This foundation has done something a lot of foundations haven't been able to do for me. Give me good coverage, make me look flawless, and is good for my skin. It doesn't look cakey on me and I love how it looks when I first apply it and also how it lasts throughout the day. My only concern is my t-zone gets a little oily later on in the day, but that happens with anything I use so I just use an oil blotting sheet. But this foundation is good. One other drawback is that the brush doesn't come with the foundation and is a little pricey. I wish it did come with the foundation though..."

"Because I am so fair, but not really alabaster I usually mix any of the powders I use. When I made my selection of color I didn't want the lightest so I went with the next color up, light/med. I really thought this would be too dark and I would have to get a light to mix it with; either 1/3, 1/2 or 2/3, until I got the right color. I could use the light med right away with out mixing - that was a treat for a change. Thank you,"

"I just pick this up today along with 7 other products and I just think it's wonderful..I've used other mineral" products but this is totally what I was looking for. It gave me a nice lite smooth finish. I don't like make up however this gives you a flawless naked look. It's just perfect!!"

"I was so excited to see this product advertised as I have been using another line and really wanted to use Origins. I found the coverage too light and the powder gets stuck in the container, making it hard to shake out. I am thinking of returning."
