Very Sheer; Not a Lip Balm

"I purchased Smileage Plus in Raw Honey, and am a little disappointed. I wasn't looking for lots of color, which is why this seemed like a good choice for me, but this lip tint doesn't appear to add any color at all. It also doesn't moisturize enough to be used alone for that purpose, so I'm not exactly sure where this fits in as a necessary product. I'll go back to using Once Upon a Shine, which I was much happier with."

"I like this product for the sheer colors (I use Eco Pink and Sugar Cane) and the smooth application and moisturizing, and the pleasant, light fragrance that doesn't linger. I have never noticed the problem with retracting it, I never extend it enough that I need to retract it. I agree that an option with SPF in it would be nice too. Sometimes I just apply it over my SPF product anyway and that seems to work fine."

"I have used several different shades of this liptint. And will continue to! My favorite is Vintage, for it's fantastic boost to my natural lip color. I also enjoy the refreshing citrus-y scent. Would really love it if they were spf 30."

"I have raw honey and off beet, both feel rather dry on my lips- doesn't feel moist. The off beet color has more "color" to it, but it doesn't go on evenly and absolutely does not provide full coverage. Raw honey is basically invisible looking. I will not buy these again, not even to use as just a lip balm because they are not moisturizing enough (I have very dry lips)."

"It goes on nicely. I don't use it as tint, but rather as just a balm. I often use it under lipstick. I don't actually like the scent and others are right - it doesn't retract"

"This is my all time favorite lip tint. Off beat is my color - and finding a color for me is difficult. I love how sheer and subtle it is (but not too subtle - just right!) and how it feels on my lips. My husband loves how it looks on me- very natural looking. I'm gifting one to my best friend ASAP.
Origins, please don't ever discontinue it!!!!!"

"This product disappointed me. Maybe the ingredients are better, but it doesn't work well. I got Sugar Cane, there's a nice subtle metallic tint, but very weak. It doesn't apply very wel either. And Very soon, the stick doesn't retract.... I have to press hard against my lips to make it go back in the case."

"I love how moisturizing this is...great for when your lips feel dry. It goes on super smooth and silky. The color i got (sugar cane) was very neutral...I liked it but next time I will probably get one w/ a little more color."

"Every time I apply this I feel like I just age oranges... it is bursting on my lips! it hydrates them and when I'm feeling like doing something simple, I apply lip liner and this lip tint after and my lips look just great! try it!"

"The color of this liptint was wonderful (I got Raw Honey). It was sheer like a gloss, but the color lasted longer than most glosses I've tried. And the taste was pleasant too--a mild lime/citrus. The only problem was that every time I used this product, my lips ended up feeling tight, like they were about to split. Ouch! Fortunately, my lips never did crack, and they looked great with this liptint, but I'm still a little hesitant to try it again."
