"I am not a toner person and just viewed it as "another step" in my skin care. When the Origins counter lady introduced this to my dry and angry patches on my cheeks- I quickly had a change of heart. My face felt immediately soft and the dry patches gone. It feels very refreshing going on. I put a small amount on my palms and just pat my face and already I see a more vibrant me. My serum, and moisterizer that follow are all absorbed even more after using this product. It will last a long time. My husband has also been using it after he shaves and he likes it too!"

"I have EXTREMELY sensitive skin - and I stumbled across these Plantidote products when I was searching for something to reduce inflammation and redness. This acts more like a toner than a moisurizer, which is great because the Plantidote cleanser doesn't get all of my eye make up off. Its lightweight and non-greasy, and best of all does NOT make me break out!"

"This "toner" is a great way to wake up your skin and prepare it for serums and moisturizers. "I have been using the Weil serum, cream, cleanser & mask. This lotion is the perfect additon to these products. It is great after hair removal and anytime else to help calm skin and add hydration. I have been having sensitivity and redness due to the winter weather and stress and adding this lotion to my skin care routine has helped my skin be more comfortable and have less redness."

"I am forever searching for the perfect toner---this comes as close as I've found. It's light, does not irritate my sensitive skin, leaves my skin feeling soft, not sticky, and accepts any moisturizer I add after using. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I find its fragrance slightly off-putting. So, I try others, and keep coming back to this one."

"The mixture is light, I put it on at night with a cotton pad. Cleans my face, sometimes I skip moisture afterward. I have trouble with products that agitate my tending to be red skin, it does not. It is not drying either, seems to be great for my sensitive, older skin."

"I usually use an alcohol based product with salicylic acid that completely dries out my skin, with minimal results.
This product works wonders. It leaves my skin feeling firm, hydrated, and glowing. No breakouts. My blackheads have disappeared.
No need to use a moisturizer after, and I usually have the dryiest skin you'd ever seen.
No negative comments at all."

"To me, "lotion" implies a certain viscosity. This product is more a "tonic" as it has the consistency of water and applies best with a cotton ball.
I'm not yet sure just how effective it is as I have not been using it long enough to determine it's success in calming my rosacea plagued cheeks.

"I really like this product. It seems to calm, smooth and moisturize my skin. Also, it helps make my other, more expensive Origin products, last a lot longer. When I apply this on first as a base, I seem to need less of the Plantidote or face cream because this has already moisturized my face so much. Love it! It also appears to reduce the redness of my rosocea."
