Not The Same :-/
Date: May 2, 2013
"I've been using Origins for over 10 years, I loved the Bronzed Metal and Rose Twinkle blushes, the new line just doesn't compare (I've tried a couple of the new colors and haven't liked any of them so far). I really miss the old colors, I don't like the new shades and I'm having a hard time finding something similar in another line... very disappointed, lost my business for this product for sure."
"Beautiful color, it’s just the right amount of color for my fair skin. I also like the new compact packaging; it’s able to fit into my smallest makeup bag. Also I’ve always use my own brush, less chance for streaks."

"As every other Origins product I've tried since I started using it in 1997, I really ***love*** this blush and would never consider trying any other brand again. I've bought a few others here and there only to be reminded of the high quality and pretty colors Origins offers.
I used Cinnamon Stick for years, but was feeling the need for a change. After all, colors go in and out of style even on blush. I am thrilled origins has some frresh new colors to offer!
Truly boggled by the complaining others are doing re: the changes. Really-- do you WANT t look the same year after year? Do you still have a 1990s hairstyle or shoes?! Try it. Change it. Mix it up. Come on gals! Get real!"

Once again disappointed....why change our favs????
Date: April 22, 2013
"I was going to take advantage of an online offer today and place an order, but Origins has (once again) changed my favorite product....this time, NO Rose Twinkle! Must admit....enough is enough....time to start looking into the competition, even though I have used Origins for 20 years.
Here's an idea.....IF/When Origins must change a favorite product, color, etc.....why not have a suggestion in the product description with alternative/similar color or product if you are discontinuing something.....?"

"I am another sad customer. Bronzed Metal and Pink Halo were my favs!!! the new colors arent the same.... If those colors were back this would get 5 stars and I would recommend it.. I have been using Origins since I was 14 and I am 32!"

"I share the same sentiments as some of the other reviewers.........disappointed that you've done away with the old blush colors and didn't replace them with any that are even remotely similar. I have been wearing Origins blush in Rose Twinkle and Bronze Metal for years and loved, loved, loved them, but couldn't find anything even close to these colors in your new line, so sorry, but I defected and went to another brand to find similar shades. So, here's one unhappy customer that you've now lost."

Disappointed about discontinued color
Date: April 10, 2013
"I have been using origins for over 15 years. They have discontinued the blush color I have worn for years (crimson and clover). None of the new colors are comparable. I think the quality is the same, just disappointed they did not replace the color with something similar (and disappointed it was discontinued). Please bring back crimson and clover. All of the make up I wear is Origins, I do not want to have to wear a different company's blush."

"I, like others who have reviewed the new blush colors, am disappointed that our favorites have not been renewed. The new colors are very orange on the face. I loved my old "Cinnamon Stick" color. Please bring it back."

Bring Back the Old Colors!!!
Date: April 5, 2013
"I am very disappointed that my old color has now been discontinued!!! Why is Origins taking away the colors that people have loved for years??? There is not another color that looks good with my skin tone now. Please bring back the old colors. I have been a loyal customer since I was 14 and now I am 30. Just disappointed to find out the good colors are gone."

Color not right for me
Date: March 25, 2013
"I was looking for something to replace my favorite Pink Halo. Online chat recommended Rose Dust. I tried that and Sweet Shimmer and found neither to be "pink." To me they are more "orange." I passed them on to a friend who wears that color palette, but should have returned them. I will try again for something with a pinker tone, Expensive lesson."
"At first I was a bit skeptical buying blush online and not seeing the actual color in person. But after realizing that there is no origin store near me, I went ahead and bought the Tropical Pink color and am very happy with it! I have a light complexion with minimal breakout and even more now that I am pregnant. The color is not too pink that I look like a doll and its not too light that you cant even notice it, the color came out to tbe a perfect fit. I also like it, because usually when i use blush I break out terribly even but this one doesnt. Just as long as I wash my face with frothy face wash or dab the toner all over to get rid of the makeup, im fine!"

Pinch Your Cheeks

"I was also disappointed that the "new" packaging did not come with a brush. I usually have my own brush in my makeup bag but it was also very convienent to grab the small brush inside of the compact. And has anyone else noticed how BRIGHT it is on your cheekswhen first applied? I used one swipe with my brush and when I put it on my cheeks I looked like a 3rd grader who had played around with her mom's makeup. However, with a little blending it did look very natural. It was just a shock when I first applied it! So I would recommend this product with caution that it takes a bit more blending than the old blush I used and loved."
"This blush is great. At first I thought it wouldn't be enough color but it goes on nicely. It has just enough color without being too harsh or overpowering."
"When I saw "lightweight" I assumed it would go on sheer. It does not. It is a bright peach and highly pigmented -- would probably flatter darker skinned women. I'm fair and had to return. It does have a nice matte finish."
"This blush is so natural looking on ..just perfect"

"I have used Origins blush for approx. 20 yrs. I am using the one I just bought and then will have to research other blushes. The quality of the product seems the same; even tho I miss my color -the new color is fine. The blush has gotten smaller, more expensive and no brush. So this is all a deal breaker for me. Love all of the other Origins skincare and will stay faithful to that."

Buildable and Stays

"I love this blush as it is buildable and has staying power. I can put it on and easily blend it with other colors to make my own custom color that fits my mood for the day. This blush will easily stay on all day but I also use it with the Plantscription or the Stay Tuned foundations. The colors are all beautiful and very natural looking and give my skin a healthy, natural glow."
"I love the way this blush looks when I first apply. However, like most blushes, it lacks staying power. I don't put a lot on and 4 hours later it looks like I never had any on in the first place."
