Not so bad
 Date: April 30, 2013
"Still grieving over Peeper Pleaser because of lack of applicator and place to put an applicator, I decided to branch out and try this product instead. I've been using a light shade of the creamy eye shadow as a foundation for the rest of my eyeshadow and it has worked wonders. Everything stays on so well. Like that it is very creamy and easy to use. Again, I am missing having an applicator- although this product does not need it as much as the Peeper Please does. I will definitely continue to use this product."

De-Puffing, Long-Lasting

"I love, love love this eyeshadow. I am a product junkie and I also happen to have very watery sensitive eyes from allergies, so I am always on the lookout for good waterproof makeup and for de-puffing magic (Origins happens to be fabulous at that second bit).
This shadow definitely depuffs- for me, even better than the matching eye creme, maybe because my sensitive eyes like it better. In fact, I use the GingerZing as a de-puffing blusher on puffy facial sinus/cheek areas.
It also stays on through lots of eye watering and dabbing at them with tissues. You don't need powder shadow but can use it. I used GingerZing when my hair was red, and vanilla when it was blonde. I'm getting ready to go light pink (!) so I'm going to try #03 next."

weightless color with staying power
 Date: April 23, 2013
"I use Underwear for Lids eyeshadow primer and like how it's not as heavy or pasty feeling as other primers. I finally decided to try the Khaki Kick cream eye shadow since #50 Moss eyeshadow is no longer available (sniff sniff). I applied it and Shazam! it blended beautifully and feels absolutely weightless without the pasty feeling that prompts me to remove it after a busy day. It does not crease and unlike other sticky, creamy shadows it does not crease or fade. This color is gorgeous for brown eyes and I use the Jade eye liner as well as Mulberry or Cocoa for color contrast. Pair Khaki Kick with Peeper Pleaser 05 Silk Chiffon and it's beautiful as a spring/summer color duo."

Wow!

"I have avoided cream eye shadows for years but decided to try these and I absolutely love them! The texture is perfect to apply easily and blend easily with a fingertip. The colors I purchased are subtle but effective and these products were priced well below the designer brand eye makeup I generally purchase. All in all I couldn't be more pleased!"

Love the Sugar Peach
 Date: April 19, 2013
"I have the Sugar Peach eye color and really like it. I have fair skin and it shows up nicely. I can layer other cream eye colors over it or use the powder eye shadow (peeper pleaser) on top. It blends well and stays on all day without creasing. I am going to buy Khaki Kick next. I have a cream eye shadow/concealor brush that I use and it works well."

This eyeshadow is wonderful!!!!!!
 Date: April 5, 2013
"I think this cream eye shadow is fabulous! I have Perkle, Coffee Buzz, Sugar Peach and Vanilla Vroom. They work beatiful as a base or as a stand alone color. I used to use underwear for lids years ago and that was wonderful as well! Great job Origins!!"

The Best!
 Date: April 2, 2013
"I love this eyeshadow. It glides on easily with your fingertip and blends with the other colors great. It does stay on all day and sometimes all night if I'm too lazy to wash my face before bed. My favorite colors are sugar peach, coffee buzz and bamboost. I have dark brown eyes and dark brown hair. I have pale skin so these colors work for me. I have tried the storm surge-too gray, perkle-looks like my eyes are bruised, go go espresso is way too dark for me. GingerZing is great for the evening since it has more gold shimmer to it. I used to not wear any eyeshadow except for Origins underwear for lids so I wanted something easy to apply. This is the best I have ever found."

Best eyeshadow
 Date: March 22, 2013
"This is the best eyeshadow ever! I use it as a primer, by itself or add in powder eyeshadow over top to enhance. I use it in a variety of ways, depending on my plans for the day and what I am wearing. I do not have creasing issues when I use this shadow. I love it!"

"I bought the Perkle & it goes on very smooth & even, then bought the Khaki & it does not go on smooth or even...so I probably won't try other colors. I miss the stick colors that I think were called underwear for eyes!"

GinZing eye cream shadow vs. Oily Lids
 Date: March 3, 2013
"When purchasing the GinZing cream eye shadow I had the intention of downgrading my current makeup routine to only using GinZing on my lids (the reviews on it for no creasing were great). Unfortunately, this product creases on my eye lids after about 4-5 hours of usage unless I apply it very heavily (I have oily skin); I felt like not only was I wasting the product in using globs of it daily but this wasn't the natural look I was going for. I was disappointed but not surprised; I haven't, yet, found a cream eye shadow that I am able to use solely on my eye lids.
I did find, though, that if combined lightly with the Peeper Pleaser eyeshadow I am able to have crease-free eye lids for near 10 hours! Not exactly what I had in mind but it works out well when used together which is why I gave this a 4 out of 5 stars."

Great staying power!
 Date: March 1, 2013
"I have been a long time fan of Origins' powder eye shadow, but decided to try the cream eye shadow for a change. Boy am I happy I tried this! It goes on easily and truly lasts all day. After trying the GingerZing color, I went online the next day and ordered the Vanilla Vroom. I love both!"

Darn good but not great
 Date: February 15, 2013
"I really like the staying power of this shadow but, like other reviewrs have noted, it is kind of dry and not creamy. Makes it a bit difficult to apply if you don't have the right tools. But once you have it on, it stays all day long and looks great!"

Bring back the stick eye cream!

"I loved the stick eye cream, it was so easy to apply. This cream eye shadow lasts all day but it takes more time to apply than the stick version. Overall, disappointed."

"I have very oily lids and most powder products, even with a primer, wind up in the crease within and hour. This creme shadow goes on smoothly and stays on all day. I love the colors and hope that Origins expands the line. More colors please!"

NO CREASE, SUPER LONG WEARING
 Date: February 3, 2013

"I never write reviews, but feel like I must on this. This is by far the best eye shadow product I've ever found. I'm 50. I work long 12 hour shifts. I got this in storm surge. I have darker blonde hair with red tones and lighter skin. I put this eye shadow on with a blending brush. It goes on perfectly and blends well. It never budges my entire shift. To test this, when I got off work I went to the bathroom to look at how my eye makeup fared. It literally looked like I had just put it on. I had used an eye liner (which typically also smudges or "goes away" as well) and that was also in perfect shape. i couldn't believe it. I have those deeper set eyes with a crease and have had troubles in the past with eye shadows clumping in lines there. Not this! It looks so good. I came back to try another color, and thought I'd write a review in case someone else is contemplating trying it. Don't hesitate...it's the best!!!!! Get an application brush with the shorter, firmer bristles (not super soft) and it works just great!!"

"This shadow must be applied with a flat brush, not provided, and has staying power but it goes on like spackling paste. Very tacky, overall a disappointment. I would not purchase again unless the formula changed."

OK replacement for Underwear for Lids
 Date: January 19, 2013

"Since Origins is no longer offering Underwear for Lids and I generally love all their products, I tried this one -- Coffee Buzz and Ginger Peach -- for hints of color and shimmer. I prefer to wear minimal makeup and this product is still good for all us minimalists, and there is actually more color selection - having it in a tube would be better so you don't need to use your fingers."

"I never use cream shadows because I found them to crease and fade very quickly, but after trying this on the back of my hand in the store and seeing that it blended then STAYED, I bought one in Storm Surge. This is a nice neutral, everyday color for my blue-gray eyes. I have been so pleased with this shadow! I tried applying it with my fingers at first, but as other reviews have said, it is not real silky and was hard to control and blend with my fingers. I switched to a small brush and that works better and blends faster and more uniformly that way. A little goes a long way! Can be layered for more dramatic look. As an experiment, I slept with it on and was pleased to see that it still looked good when I woke! That was 17 hrs of wear. I would have rated a 5 except for the fact that it does go on a bit dry or stiff and you have to blend it quickly before it dries in place. That said, I love the way it stays in place with NO creasing or fading! I will probably buy 1-2 more colors."
