Origins Best Foundation Yet
Date: April 25, 2013
"I get upset every time Origins discontinues my foundation, but this time the move was a great one. Plantscription SPF15 Anti-aging foundation is the best yet. I am 56 years of age and love the light feeling of this foundation. What I have learned as I get older, is that "less is more", meaning I use to think the more foundation I put on the better my skin looked. I now realize the opposite is true. I use very little foundation, just enough to even out skin tone and that gives a much more youthful look. I love the tube instead of the bottle, much easier to control how much you use, and less waste. It stays on all day with a nice dewy look, I use the All or Nothing powder with a small brush if I want to take any shine off during the day which is another great product. Thanks Origins for continuing to improve your product, and hope this foundation is here to stay!"

My favorite liquid foundation!

"I saw a lot of negative reviews comparing this to the foundation it replaced, but I have to say, I love this stuff! It's just the right amount of coverage. Not as light as tinted moisturizer, but not heavy either. I live in a dry climate, and found the mineral foundations were creasing, even with primer. This stuff feels so lovely going on and stays dewy. I set it with a powder to minimize the shine, and it seems to have staying power. Even after my noon workout. I'm a fan!"

Review 3 for Plantscription™ SPF 15 Anti-aging foundation
"I was interested in finding a new creamy foundation with a lighter texture than what I was using, and now I've found it. I started with the sample pack to find the color most like my own. The first one I ordered was slightly darker so I'm saving it for the summer. I re-ordered a lighter shade and really like the color match, it's perfect for my skin tone. I really like this foundation and the lighter feel but wonderful coverage it provides on my skin...Thank you !!! :)"

Review 4 for Plantscription™ SPF 15 Anti-aging foundation
"I was skeptical in trying this product because I loved Nude and Improved, but after using it since this past December I have decided that it is my new favorite foundation. It goes on easily--either with my fingers, a sponge, or a make-up brush--and it does not maximize my wrinkles or pores. Plus the coverage is less than a heavy foundation but more than just a tinted moisturizer. What more can I ask for!"

"I just switched to this from their original liquid foundation that I have been using for several years, and I like this one so much better! Looks like it covers more, and good for my dry skin. I will continue use this from now."

It's alright...but I miss Nude & Improved!
Date: April 8, 2013
"I switched to Plantscription after using Nude and Improved for a long time. I like the coverage, and it doesn't dry my skin out. With my pasty white Irish complection, I love how it has SPF.
However, there isn't a shade that really matches my skin, so it's pretty evident I'm wearing make-up. Bring back Nude & Improved!"

Bring back Youthtopia!!
Date: April 5, 2013
"I've used Origins products from their inception, and rarely have I been disappointed. But the decision to stop production of Youthtopia Foundation has been a failure on the company's part. I assume the decision to go with this replacement is the added expense to your customers and thus your bottom line. I never thought I'd make this move, but I'm leaving Origins since there is no foundation option left for my demographic. Best wishes, and if you right the ship and bring back Youthtopia Foundation I will be back."

Why must they mess up a good thing??
Date: March 30, 2013
"First, I have loved Origins products for quite a while, which made their recent changes all the more disappointing. I loved Nude and Improved. It was amazing. I just bought the Plantscription and it is awful! It is heavy and instead of looking fresh and radiant, it is clear that I am wearing foundation. Yuck!
I was disappointed when they stopped selling their Youthtopia lotion (also nice, light, refreshing), but now that they have discontinued their Nude and Improved as well I'm going to have to find another brand. So disappointing because they had such a great product and it is hard to find a company that has such excellent ingredients and products. Sigh. Please, Origins, if you are paying attention to your customers, bring back some of your great products!"

Please bring back nude and improved foundation
Date: March 10, 2013
"I miss the product which this replaced. I like a shear foundation and this is much thicker than the Nude and Improved that came before this foundation. The price is almost 2 times as much too. Origins, if you are listening, we want the old formula back!!!!!"

Great coverage for brown spots on fair skin!
Date: March 2, 2013
Tags: coverage, Dry Skin, Moisturizing
"Like other reviewers I used to use the (lightest shade) youthtopia liquid foundation and loved it as I have very dry skin and the youthtopia was nice and oily for me. I'm now using the lightest 01 shade Plantscription foundation and really like it! Although it doesn't feel as wet/oily going on as the youthtopia did, it doesn't feel dry or get flaky throughout the day. It actually has better coverage than the youthtopia did. It covers up brown spots VERY WELL!! I apply it with a sponge after a (moisturizing) foundation primer and it goes on very smooth with great coverage. Even though this lightest shade is a bit darker than the lightest youthtopia was I've come to like it more as it really smooths out skin tone/discolorations. However, if they did come out with an even lighter shade for the plantscription foundation, I'd try that. I love the consistency of it, it goes on very smooth. I question the need for spf in a foundation though, I think having spf in the moisturizer underneath is sufficient. Bottom line: great product that works well for dry/aging/fair skin!"

Bring back Nude and Improved!!
Date: February 25, 2013
"I too tried this foundation when Nude and Improved was discontinued. For me, it is too heavy unless I am going out in the evening. I have been using Origins exclusively for many years and enjoy most all the products. I miss the lightness of Nude and Improved....please bring it back!!"

Tags: Combination Skin, age prevention, medium coverage
"I tried this foundation after one of my favorites from another brand disappeared. It took a few tries to find the right color match, and the color shows up lighter on skin than what it seems. I like the smooth, complete but not heavy coverage, and I've seen improvement in my skin tone. I do wish that it had a little more staying power, as it wipes off easily. But I'm impressed, and this is my new favorite foundation."

Review 16 for Plantscription™ SPF 15 Anti-aging foundation
"So happy planscriptions foundation is available, bought the cleanser and love it; saw there was foundation and had to have it, so many reviews about the shades were so off; but I took a chance and ordered because no store close to me. I use the stay tuned foundation in eggshell, just got plantscription in very light, and it's a perfect match, not orange or yellow like some reviews said. I'm blonde and fair skin and works great for me, so glad I tried it. Just tried for a day, so I will let you know how the coverage is later, but so far very happy for perfect match. Love stay tuned but wanted antiaging benefits. Love all Origins, Plantscriptions is my new favorite!!!!! Also love the new tube, instead of glass bottle, easier to get out."

"I had been using YouthTopia for over a year, so I was dissappointed when I saw it was replaced with Plantscriptions. As a big user of Origins products, I gladly tried out the new foundation. I hated it. The lightest color was still way too dark on my skin (when the Youthtopia I was the 02). It turned oily very quickly and was difficult to apply and work in evenly. It is also more expensive. I really wish they'd reformulate this product to continue with medium-full coverage. The concept and name are great, but the product falls very short for their brand.
I tried stepping down to Stay Tuned, but found I just need more coverage. I'm so sad to have to leave Origins foundations behind."

Too Heavy -- Bring back Nude and Improved!
Date: February 14, 2013
"Plantscriptions is a thick, heavy foundation and even the lightest shade is too dark and orangey forfair skin. Origins had a fantastic product in Nude and Improved (I used Almost Angel). It was light and sheer and invisible but smoothed out my skin tone perfectly. Plantscriptions is like all the other heavy foundations that I switched to Origins to avoid!
Please bring back Nude and Improved!"

disappointing
Date: January 30, 2013
"I was so upset when Youthtopia was discontinued and reluctantly gave this a try...the coverage, balance, and effectiveness of this product is not even close to that of Youthtopia...I purchased 2 colors and blend them, however, together and individually they are still too orange...day one of using this product people were asking me if I was "tired"...please, please, please bring back Youthtopia!!"
