"I love this moisturizer!! It's not too thick and it feels great once applied. I esp bought this one b/c of the 35 spf. I very pleased using my first jar, I didn't hesitate to look around for another kind or brand when I needed more. The smell is nice too. Love it!"

Didn't work for me

"I am almost done with the jar and I noticed my skin is the same as before I started using it and my dark spots are unchanged if not more."

Review 3 for Brighter By Nature™ SPF 35 Skin tone correcting moisturizer
"I originally loved this moisturizer. However, it often makes my dry skin very greasy. Maybe it is the SPF. I am very fair and have freckles, and have developed dark spots after pregnancies. What fun! This moisturizer really really gives my skin a healthy radiance and keeps my skin fair. It definitely lightened the dark spots. Hooray! I wanted to continue using it, but would need to blot my face a few times a day to keep the greasy feel away. I wish I could still use it. I always received compliments on my complexion when I used this daily. I used this for months. Also, like all Origins products, it lasts forever, so the price is well worth it. If I could figure out how not to have a greasy nose and forehead, I would use this forever. I used it for months and still have half of a jar. All my Origins products last 6 months or more! I love Origins!"

Great product

"What I love most about this product is that it's a 35 SPF and NEVER stings my skin when it's been dry and irritated like some moisturizers have. This sinks right in and does not leave me greasy at all. I just started using it a couple weeks ago so hope it will correct the little bit of skin tone issue that I have. It's rich and creamy but not heavy and I LOVE that it never stings!"

Review 5 for Brighter By Nature™ SPF 35 Skin tone correcting moisturizer
"I started using this moisturizer in December and I'm already seeing a difference in my dark spots on my cheeks, and my skin tone seems more even. I also don't have any new dark spots so the sunscreen must be working. I have dark spots from birth control pills and this is a wonderful moisturizer. You don't need a lot either and it feels good under make up. No break outs or skin irritation."

Made me breakout
Date: February 1, 2013
"I am so disappointed with this product. I went into the origins store for the first time and told the salesperson my concerns. I told her that I have oily skin, acne and that I have sun spots and acne spots. I bought all of the items that she told me to buy, totaling to over $200. I am in my late 30's and have the worst skin of my life. I have used the origins now for about 3 wks and my skin is so bad that I want to cry! It's worse than it was when I was pregnant! So this morning I thought,I better check out these products better since my skin has actually gotten worse. The container only states, skin tone correcting. It doesn't say for dry, oily etc. only when I looked online at the actual product description did I see that it is for dry skin!!!! Now I have pimples everywhere, and more acne scars to try to hide...."

Good Sub for Make a Difference Ultra-rich cream
Date: December 31, 2012
"I used to use the Make A Difference line's Ultra-rich rejuvenating cream along with the separate SPF 25. When they discontinued the SPF 25, a rep recommended I switch to the A Perfect World SPF 35. It was AWFUL. Greasy, oily, dried out my skin...and smelled like sunscreen (their previous sunscreen did not have this problem).
I switched to this product after they discontinued the Ultra-rich rejuvenating cream, and I love it! I get more SPF protection than my last perfect mix, and the cream smells lovely. I don't know what I will do in the summer, but for now it's a great daily moisturizer."

Didn't meet my expect
Date: December 20, 2012
"Except the spf35 moisturizer all other Origins products I have are wonderful for me. The SPF35 moisturizer just makes my face look very oily which is normally a dry skin. I can't use it under make up as it stays like not absorbed into skin and gives a dull look."

Tried this while waiting for Plantscription
Date: November 25, 2012
Tags: dry and flaky skin
"This product is amazing for extremely dry and flaky skin. In less than 2 weeks my skin felt hydrated and smooth. I normally have a lot of flaking, especially around the nose. It is not oily at all. In fact I was not sure how hydrating it would be. I received the plantscription serum and starting over with mimosa and found that combination to be heavy, so I am using this at night and this during the day."

Review 10 for Brighter By Nature™ SPF 35 Skin tone correcting moisturizer
"I like this SPF because its glides onto skin smooth it absorbs into the skin easily with no chalky white residue. And it helps clear up my complexion while protecting my skin from the sun. And a little goes along way you don't need to smoother your face. And there is no heavy perfume the sent is light and pleasing."

Brighter By Nature SPF 35
Date: July 29, 2012
"I wasted 2 bottles of this. I don't know why I stocked up with another one. At first I thought it was just okay even if it is too oily but later on I realized my face looked like an oil spill and I slowly started to break out because it was clogging my pores. If you have sensitive, combination/oily skin like mine I really think this is not a good product to use. I didn't see any improvement on my dark spots and because it made me break out I incurred new dark spots from my pimple scars. I am an origin fanatic. It is just that this moisturizer is too oily for my skin type. Now I started using Dr. Weil's Mega Mushroom Skin Relief Lotion in the morning and it seem to be compatible with my oily skin. At night I use HIgh Potency Night-A-Mins in oil free formula for almost a year now and that works wonders too for my skin. Over time I realized oil free moisturizers best suit my skin."

It was ok...
Date: June 20, 2012
"I think the product is EXTREMELY to thick and heavy especially for the summer time and for individuals who have normal to oily skin. I have noticed this summer that I have started developing pimples on my cheek area & on my forehead. I have never had acne but I think that due to this moisturizer being so thick mixed with sweating (from being or outside or working out) that my pores have just become clogged. I think that individuals that suffer with dry skin & for people who are dry in the winter that this product would be great, however I am not one of those people. I am headed back to Orgins to start over. I also think that the Checks & Balances face wash was also a little drying for my skin causing an over production of oil which clogged my pores as well. I need gentler and lighter products! I haven't totally sworn off Orgins though...will try some other things first before I totally count them out!"

"I got a sample tube from the sales associate at my local Origins, and although this is a nice moisturizer, I pretty much only use it when I don't want to wear make up (my foundation has SPF in it), but want moisture and sun protection. It has more of a consistency of sunblock than moisturizer and smells a bit like sunscreen. I don't know that I would buy this over the Dr. Weils that I use normally."

Too heavy and greasy. Left my skin shiny.
Date: May 1, 2012
Tags: not for me
"Too oily and heavy for my combination skin. The oil seems to sit on my skin and makeup doesn't apply well over it. It's too shiny as well. It feels the same as the drugstore SPF I was using for only $12-$14 a bottle twice the size of this. I have to wear makeup to get rid of the shine this leaves. Like another reviewer mentioned, it just feels sticky and uncomfortable on my skin. The jar it's contained in is filled with the cream so if it works for you....you do get your money's worth. However, the cream fits loosely in the jar and is easy to spill. It should be in pump form like some other SPF creams. I purchased this to use with the peeling pads and the mega bright. I thought it would help to brighten my skin. I'm new to Origins and was hoping it would make a difference. So far, I can't say I'll be repurchasing any of these items. Too much $ lost already. I hope I'm wrong. If I am, I will re-review."
