"I tried checks and balance but that was WAY to drying for my combination dry skin. IT is made for those with combination OILY skin, because if you use that one it will dry out your skin, yes it will clean but more than you want. But this stuff, this stuff cleans your face but it doesn't strip the skin of its natural oils and OVER dry it. The scent is Excellent and not to strong, remember cleanser doesn't sit on your skin, you don't smell it after you rinse it off. There is not para fume in it."

Perfect cleanser for dry skin

"I love washing my face with this every morning! Sometimes I feel too lazy and tired at night, and use Pure Cream and wipe it off with a wet washcloth then, but in the morning, I use APW. It doesn't strip my skin, it cleanses and feels fantastic. My face is smooth and hydrated. I follow with Make a Diff Toner, and APW moisturizer. (I might use APW with the SPF in the summer, we shall see). Checks and Balances is too drying and Pure Energy is nice, but this is better."

"A tiny drop lathers and rinses cleanly, leaving you with a fresh scrubbed feel. I wouldn't use on dry skin, as your skin feels a bit tight and you should moisturize afterwards. So far, I'm very pleased with this product and looking forward to a revived ME!"

Great Morning Cleanser

"As I mentioned in a previous review, I switched to an exclusively Origins skincare routine about a month ago, and this was one of my additions.

I use it in the mornings to prep my face for serums, treatments, and moisturizers.

I love the creamy feel of this cleanser, and the fact that the foamy-ness doesn't dry out my skin like other foaming cleansers do.

Oh, and the citrus scent is definitely a nice pick me up when you're waking up at 6 am. :)"

"This moisturizer is great, but I don't feel like it really takes care of the flaky areas on my cheeks (Even after I exfoliate). It's great on the rest of my face, though! It's very soothing and helps reduce redness. The smell is wonderful, and it will be a great summer moisturizer for my dry skin."

"I have been battling with skin care over the past few months -- including a honey phase and a coconut oil phase. I decided to try Origins because it's gentle and the ingredients are more wholesome than drugstore options. A lot of reviews on here say they don't like it because it leaves a film on your skin after washing. I don't really notice that (probably because I switched to this after using coconut oil so I like that feeling) but really, to me, that is a good sign because it means it's not stripping your skin of the oils it needs. If you have oily skin, drying it out will only make it oilier because your glands will over-produce sebum. This face wash keeps my skin balanced. It's not dry or oily. I do have acne-prone skin and I haven't noticed a drastic improvement with breakouts, but I haven't noticed it getting worse, either. I have only been using this product for a week so my skin is still getting used to it. I'm hopeful that I will see my breakouts decrease once my face is acclimated to the face wash. I will definitely keep using this."

"I started using this cleanser after I received it as a christmas gift and am now addicted to it. I have combination skin (dry but oily T-zone) and this along with the moisturizer are the only thing I have found and used that seem to balance it out and keep my face feeling baby soft all day long, with no greasy feeling. I also have very sensitive skin so there are very few brands of facial products that don't make me break out and this one is one of them. Love it and would recommend it to anyone. Also, love the smell."

"I have used this product for a week and used Check and Balance cleanser for a week so far. This product is similar to a gel cleanser and does not make nearly as much foam as the Check and Balance cleanser. You may have to use more to make a good amount of foam, although I am not sure if foam is absolutely necessary for a good cleansing. Also, it leaves your skin with somewhat slippery feeling, so it is sometimes difficult to determine whether you washed it off or not. Despite all the "cons", I still prefer this product over Check and Balance cleanser because it is gentler than Check and Balance. A Perfect World™ Antioxidant cleanser with White Tea feels as if it has some moisturizer in it. The Check and Balance feels like it is meant to give you that "squeaky" clean feeling, so it leaves skin a bit dry. In terms of scent, Check and Balance has very minimal scent, where as A Perfect World™ Antioxidant cleanser with White Tea has a pleasant citrus-like scent."

"This product offers a pleasant feel, frothiness and fragrance. However, it made my face break out in as little as 2 days of use! Reason? This product is loaded with essential oils and essential oils serve NO purpose on the skin, nor face for that matter. I am amazed at all of the raves about this skin care line and it just confirms my suspicions, that none of the individuals that utilize this line of products truly knows anything about what is, and what is not good for their skin. Choose products from Origins VERY carefully, as this line is almost entirely manufactured with highly irritating essential oils and ingredients that can actually cause harm and premature aging to ones complexion."
