"I tried the regular Starting Over cream and it caused me to break out. Then I found the Oil-Free version - LOVE IT! It's creamy and moisturizing without being greasy, and I don't break out. As I grow closer to 40 my skin has changed and what used to be oily skin now requires additional moisturizer. I also live in a dry climate so that never helps. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I don't think this does anything for "anti-aging" (e.g., age spots, wrinkles). But I put this over my alpha-hydroxy cream and it provides a nice moisturizing layer. Will definitely keep buying this."

Fantastic moisturizer for nighttime

"I use a nighttime moisturizer with retinol for sensitive skin a few times a week. But because my skin is naturally dry but very acne prone, I also needed another moisturizer I could use the other four nights a week that gives me anti-aging benefits, doesn't cause breakouts or clog my pores, and that really moisturizes and repairs skin overnight. I found all of that with Starting Over moisturizer. This is one of three new Origins products I've tried in the past three months that has become a beauty staple in my regular routine. My skin is smoother, moisturized and brighter since I have incorporated Starting Over into my nightly routine along with the Starting Over eye cream. I also am hardly breaking out since I began using this at night. A win all the way around!"

"Though, there is no mineral oil or petrolatum products...the formulation contains several essential oils. Oil is oil to my skin. (I wish there was more regulation on what can be labeled as Oil Free.) Made me break out after a couple nights use. Will be returning."

"Overall I love this product so much. I have ordered about 5 jars since its release. I have very sensitive skin, and this product is very gentle and absorbed so well by my skin. I don't feel any extra greasy on my face. I do not give it 5 stars due to the fact that I do not see apparent improvement on my skin. However, this product does surprisingly maintain the moisture of my facial skin."

"I decided to try this new product. I'm a big fan of the Perfect World line of products, but wanted to try something to combat my signs of aging for my mid-thirties skin. This stuff is amazing. First off, It smells incredible! Secondly after only a few days I noticed my skin began to glow from within more. After a few weeks and I'm noticing a decrease in my fine lines, improved suppleness, and even fading of some of my age spots which I wasn't even expecting. I am using this AM and Pm every day in combination with the Perfect World White Tea Skin Guardian, and Perfect World Treatment lotion. My skin has never looked better. I highly recommend this product!"

"This moisturizer is more like a light weight serum- it is amazing. Goes on silky smooth at night and is still there when you get up in the morning. I believe this has helped to minimize the appearance of pores, brighten skin tone and does not cause my oily blemish prone skin any issues. Starting Over has a light, clean, almost citrusy smell. I hope they never stop selling this! Could only be better if they added an SPF version to the line."

"I was out of this product for a few days and really saw a difference! My skin is oily, but needs moisture. I smooth this moisturizer on at night and wake up with a noticeable difference - less tiny lines and wrinkles, and not greasy-feeling. It is pricey but a little goes a long way so it lasts a long time and is therefore a good value and worth it."

I have used many moisturizers over the years and they have either been too heavy or didn't give me any hydration. The oil-free Starting Over is perfect. It is not heavy for day time use and gives me the right amount of moisture i need. It is light weight and soothing. Being in my mid-40's my lines are less noticeable and that is always a plus!!!!"

"at around age 36 I started to get the proverbial crows feet around my mouth and mysterious lines that were appearing new almost daily around my eyes and on my forehead. I was already using Origins foundation (best I have ever used as well) and decided to try the Starting Over to wrangle in those aging lines now. I have combination skin but the zones where it is oily, its very oily, so I was afraid of any anti-aging msiturizer causing me to break out. That's all I needed was wrinkles and pimples.....what a combo! I saw an editorial recommendation for the Starting Over in a magazine and since I already loved Origins thought I would give it a try. I am so happy I did. It basically stopped the wrinkle progression in its tracks and healed up all but one deep wrinkle at the very corner of my eye on each eye.....everyone even people in their twenties have that, so I'm happy with those results I don't know how many times I have been discussing my teenage children with people and others in the discussion who don't know me are amazed that I have teenagers, they think I look like I'm in my early twenties. At first I thought people were just being kind, but I've heard it so many tmes from different people now, that I'm somewhat convinced that whatever Starting Over has in its ingredients works! it is a bit pricey for our hosehold budget but one jar lasts me about 8 weeks...so I figure an average of $25 a month is a lot cheaper than plastic surgery later down the road! If you are hesitant, I would say buy one jar and try it for 8 weeks....snap a before pic on your cell phone and another one at 8 weeks to compare."

great moisturizer

"This is great for the face! The feel is wonderful and it absorbs well. I returned the moisturizer with SPF 15 because it was greasy for me, but this product is excellent! I have normal skin but on the sensitive side, and just needed something for after the shower. I also use the night-a-mins before bed and the combo is great for me. I am 28 and so no real problems, just trying to keep my skin healthy with the extra sun I get working outside."

"I have tried many moisturizers over the years, including some very pricey ones. Starting Over oil-free moisturizer is my absolute favorite. It goes on and absorbs nicely. I have used the regular Starting Over and I find it a little too heavy for daytime wear, especially in a warm, humid southern climate. Will use the regular moisturizer at night until it's gone.
I do love the way the oil-free moisturizer makes my skin feel. It has a nice fragrance, too.
My biggest complaint about all of Origin's moisturizers is that they don't come in a pump bottle. I don't like the fact that I could be contaminating the product every time I put my fingers in the jar. I am very careful to wash my hands before I use it."

Great moisturizer

"I love the way this moisturizes my skin, and also what it's done for my skin tone. The only thing that keeps me from giving it 5 stars is that I did end up developing fine lines on my forehead, but it's hard to say if these were already on their way or if the product doesn't work.

Regardless, I really enjoy the way it leaves my skin and will continue to use it."
