"I began using Checks & Balances Frothy Face Wash I guess when it first came on the market! It is a wonderful product that cleanes off all make up and leaves my face feeling soft and thoroughly cleaned. A few months ago I failed to reorder this product when I ran out of it, so I bought a national brand cleanser from the drug store. It was awful! I quickly ordered a years supply of Checks & Balances Frothy face wash and will not go with out it! When I first began using this product I had very oily skin. And it was great at leaving my skin feeling very clean, not tight. Now that I'm in my 50's, and have combination dry skin, this fantastic product is still a great cleanser for my skin! I even use it in the morning before reapplying my skin toning and moistirizer products. I highly recommend this product to anyone who needs a good over all cleanser. I also have delicate skin, around the eye area This product has never irritated my eyes! Also, a tiny bit goes a long ways! Just a pearl size dab thoroughly cleanses my skin. A tube will last a very long while!"

"I've been using this product for several years now and I love it. I've tried others things now and again and my face never feels as good as when I use the checks and balances. It smells fabulous, it lathers just enough (not a bunch of soapy bubbles) and it leaves my skin feeling clean and soft."

"Well I started using Origins about a year ago, and I FELL in LOVE with this skincare. This was my very first facial cleanser and I loved it at first, but then after a week of using it, it was just way to drying. It cleaned my face very well, and made it squeaky clean but it was almost TO clean. I use the energy cleansing oil to get my makeup off since I have never used just face washes to just wash makeup off. I also think it is to much if this goes into the eyes it BURNS. But I do love how clean my skin felt after i used it, just make sure you use a good moisturizer."

"This cleanser smells great, and develops a great foam, however it is a little harsh on sensitive skin. I used it and my skin felt tight and burned for a little. I had to use a moisturizing cream to balance my skin back out. For sensitive skin I would recommend the Dr. Weil Mega Mushroom line."

"I'm beyond completely satisfied with this and my 'transfer' to all origins products. I'm a floridian and have to deal with high levels of humidity on a daily basis. To top that - I'm 1/2 italian and have super oily skin.

I'm so happy I made the switch to origins. A little goes a long way with this face wash ... It leaves my face feeling fresh and beautiful - all natural. It does NOT make me feel striped of my natural oils or tight. I have acne prone skin (even at age 24; was on accutane and the whole sha-bang when I was younger.).

My face has cleared up dramatically - I feel that this is due to the more natural ingredients. And best part - my fiancé has noticed how bright and clear my face is! I'm SO HAPPY."

"I've been using the face cleanser for at least the last 14 years or so. Other cleansers had a lot of fragrance or abrasiveness. Nothing has ever come close to what I have come to expect from my face wash. It has been several years now that I stopped the madness and sampling of other products. The cleanser is easy to use, the application feels great, it rinses off pretty easily and leaves no residue or film. My skin feels clean and it looks great too. Never need rags, sponges, wipes... nothing but a small dab of cleanser and water. Tube lasts a pretty long time and considering you will use all of it, because it is that good of a product, the price is fine. I hope this info helps. Thanks"

Squeaky Clean, but a little too drying

"I got a sample after reading all the rave about it. I gave it several days of use, but not in love. I'm on the fence... When I say "squeaky", I really mean like rubbing your fingers over clean glass surface! I've never felt anything like it! I initially liked it because it cleaned my make up off completely and effortlessly. I also love the frothy texture. A pea size will cover the entire face. This product would last forever. After rinsing, I found that my face is a little too dry. No major dry spots in the morning; just slightly flaky in the crease of my nose. I can make it work IF I use this only once a day (to remove make up) and put on a little extra moisturizer. I just don't know if it's worth it yet! For now, I'm back on a hunt."

"I will never forget the very first time I used this face wash. There was an immediate difference and my skin has not been the same since. I used to have very oily and acne prone skin. Within 2 weeks of using the face wash, my skin started clearing up completely and my face was a lot more balanced. I no longer have oily patches and my dry areas feel moisturized. This is worth every penny and it lasts a very long time--about 6-8 months. You really only need a little dab--lathers so well!"
