"It's just what it claims to be, a sheer liptint. I got it Sugar Cane which looks very natural. but an improvement on nature. It goes on like a silky lip balm. I just wish it had SPF....."

"Ive been notified by me store that the color Vintage will be discontinued. Please don’t do this to all of us who adore this great color, possibly forcing us to look at other brands for something comparable. Such a great color, wear it every day with everything. Even on my worst days, putting Vintage on makes me look back at myself and say "hey not so shabby baby""

"I've been using Origins products for literally decades, and this is the first product I've used by the company that I have to give a negative review. I bought Smileage Plus because I couldn't purchase Rain and Shine lip tint (I later found out that the Rain and Shine will be returning to Origins, yay!), and I found it to be disappointing. It's a fairly nice lip balm, but there are lip balms on the market--even in drug stores--that are better. Smileage Plus has almost no color when it's on your lips, even in the very dark shade. So really it's only useful as a lip balm, and as a lip balm it's overpriced. It has a funny scent too, sad to say. : ( I won't be buying it again."

"I love this product! Please don't discontinue. Vintage color was my favorite. I very rarely wear real lipstick but I love this product for just a hint of color and I wear it daily. It is moisturizing, goes on nicely and stays on nicely."

Best lip balm ever!

"This is the best lip balm/color I've ever used. It goes on really smooth and lasts forever. It keeps my lips moisturized but has a tint so it looks like I'm wearing lipstick.
I'm so dissapointed that they are discontinuing it! :-( Please bring this back. Vintage was my all time favorite color."

"Please don't ever stop selling this. I'm really active so I don't usually wear much makeup, and it adds a subtle color whether I'm wearing minimal makeup or nothing. It's also the perfect moisturizer. It is my go-to everyday!"

"I don't usually leave reviews but as someone who has tried every lipgloss, lip balm, liptint and sheer lip color - only to find them too sparkly, too color pigmented, too dry... well you lip junkies know what I mean. I bought this in "vintage" and it is perfect, perfect, perfect. I will be buying several more so I don't run out. It's creamy, moisturizing but not slick or sparkly. It has a subtle sheen and the color is subtle and beautiful. I could not be happier."

"I love this liptint. I found the right color for my skintone and it's just enough to make my lips moist, shiny and healthy. I don't wear or like lipstick. Too high maintenance. I just apply this with a bit of gloss and go. Easy and no mirror required. If you're a no nonsense gal and just want a hint of color, this product is for you. The only thing I wear on my lips."

"Light, yet moisturizing, Smileage has a great feel that I haven't found with other lip balms, tinted or otherwise. I got this as a free sample and I love the way the Raw Honey looks on. It gives me some polish so I look finished but not overdone."

"I love this product. I can put it on without looking, it stays moist, and doesn't go outside my lip line at all. I can't recommend it highly enough, It isn't gooey and sticky like gloss, just very pleasant to wear."

"I usually love Origins products, and have used them for years, but I absolutely hated this lip tint. It smelled awful and left a horrible taste in my mouth and I did not care the color either (Sugar Cane). I ended up throwing this away after only using it a couple times. I'll stick with the Flower Fusion."

Lip Balm with a touch of color

"I am one of those people who could never apply lipstick without a mirror, so Smileage Plus is a perfect product for me. You might consider it to be between a lipstick and a balm, softening, adding a little color, and easily applied even in the car without a mirror! I find myself using it throughout the day in place of a lip balm, and feeling good about the touch of color. If they wanted to knock my socks off, they would add an SPF.
Also should mention that almost ALL of my Origins purchases have been on-line, and the colors on the website are true to life. I have Smileage Plus in several colors now, and have not been disappointed."

"This goes on nicely and feels very smooth. Very, very sheer. Doesn't stay on long at all. Eat or drink something and it's totally gone. I'm using it now as a base for another lipstick. Tube is very small. Probably wouldn't purchase again."

"After reading other reviews about the lack of color in this product, I ordered the Organic Plum in hopes of getting some color. I ordered right, the color is perfect for my pale complexion. It gives me great moisture and just enough natural looking color on my lips. I love it on days when I don't want to have to worry about reapplying lipstick all day. I can put this on without a mirror, which I love. The texture is nice and smooth, not sticky at all.
The reason I'm only giving this 4 stars is that I'm not a huge fan of the scent. It's an okay citrusy smell, but not really something I like smelling all day. I'd much prefer a minty scent."
