She said to stick with it for a good month, using twice a day, and I should see results. And I did! I still get break-outs, but they are small and not painful, a far cry from the large, embarrassing cysts that I would get. I ran out and didn't use for a few weeks, and I had problems again. This is one produce I will not be without."

"I have dealt with sensitive skin all my life. THIS WORKS! I apply this serum everyday after I wash my face (with Dr. Weil's cleanser). Two pumps, smooth it on, wait a bit and follow up with a moisturizer. I use Dr. Weil's face cream in the winter or Origins 'Drink up Intensive mask'. I get compliments on my skin all the time. I garden a lot, so I get some sun spots...by springtime they've faded away. LOVE this stuff!"

"I have the Mega-Mushroon Skin Relief Serum as well as the Mega-Mushroom Skin Relief Face Cream. At first I was a bit skeptical and assumed it would be similar to other skin products I have used in the past. I have very sensitive skin, thus it is usually quite difficult for me to find a product that is not only effective, but gentle on my skin. After only one week of using both of these products (along with Modern Friction and Starting Over Eye Cream) my skin looks better than it has in years! My skin appears clear and calm. My complextion is a gorgeous even tone. The hydration level of my skin is perfect: not overly moisturized, nor too dry. I swear by Origins now. Origins will always be found in my skincare arsenal."

"I am so happy I could cry! I have rosacea that I have kept well under control and HAD beautiful skin when it was controlled. Recently however, I experienced a HUGE flare up. For the past month I have tried samples of EVERY product on the market to settle the flare up. My skin is so angry and tight. I got a sample of mega-mushroom skin relief serum and after one, yes ONE application at bedtime last night, my skin was calmed within 15 minutes. By the following morning, the redness had started to subside and I no longer had the stinging, itchy tightness problem. I used it again in the morning and again the next night. 3 applications and my skin is just about back to normal (a state of controlled rosacea). What I also love is that not only is my skin calmer and less red but my pores are tight and my skin is smoother. My pores look less inflammed. I am so pleased. All this from a sample. I will be buying the full size right away. This works better than my prescription metro-gel. Thanks Dr Weil ! For heaven's sake - if you have this problem with red tight sensitive skin - get a sample. It will cost you nothing and you will be pleased. Please never stop making this."

I liked the old formula better

"I bought this after being impressed with the original formula, Plantidote Mega-Mushroom Face Serum, and after having used it all up, I bought this as a replacement. However, after using it, I wasn't getting the same "wow" factor as I did with the original formula. Although, this wasn't giving me any bad side affects either, it just became part of my moisturizing routine. Now having finished the bottle and not noticing any improvement, I'm now looking for a new face serum and will not be buying this again. Having read other negative reviews with the same issue on how the formula was changed, I feel relieved that I wasn't crazy to notice this."

"I love the entire Mega-Mushroom line. I recently began using this in addition to the mega-mushroom cream & it has helped calm the itchy, flaky dryness on my face. I find the serum to be especially soothing for my psoriasis and eczema prone skin. I'm embarrassed to say I put off trying this because of comments about "the smell". It's fine. When first applied, the serum has a astringent, woody smell. It smells fresh.

I definitely recommend this to anyone with relentlessly dry problem skin."

"I used this product after dealing with breakouts into my early 20s, and it totally healed my skin. It does have a different smell, but I personally love it. (people that say it smells rotten are being a little dramatic) Get a sample to make sure it's okay for you. I work in natural foods and to me it smells like a food co-op, which suits me well. Might not be for everyone.

I've since started using the perfect world line since I'm in the city and concerned about environmental damage. But Dr. Weil and his products are fantastic!"

"I can't really say how it works. I used it three times and thought I could get use to the smell, but it is just terrible. It smells like rotten mushrooms and garbage. Your face and hands just stink after applying it. Would not recommend unless you have no sense of smell."

"I got really sick after having my second child... My hair was falling out, I was anemic and my skin was FREAKING out over EVERYTHING. After washing my face I would get welts! My face was blotchy and breaking out and it hurt! I have been using Dr. Weil's Face wash, serum and moisturizer for 5 months now and my skin looks AMAZING!
