"I actually have this mask on as I type this review. I have pretty normal skin. A little oily in the summer, pretty dry in the winter but overall decent skin. I get occasional breakouts, meaning that time of the month or when I use a product my skin doesn't like (thankfully my skin LOVES origins) This is my go to mask when my face is freaking out. It smells like strong camphor (kind of medicinal, menthol, minty) but that honestly doesn't bother me at all. I was having a spout of breakouts on my cheek today (6-10 spots of varying sizes) and I can already see a difference in the inflammation of them.

It sops up extra oil, diminishes spots FAST, and doesn't leave me overly dry. It is perfection. I will always have a tube on hand."

"I received a sample of this mask the other day because I was having some breakouts on my cheeks and chin. I was hesitant because I have dry skin and I didn't want it to dry out more. I put it on for 10 minutes and rinsed it off....wow! My skin was totally transformed while the mask was on. The red bumps were smaller and lighter and my skin felt smoother. I can't wait to see how much it changes when I try it again. I did use the Drink Up mask on my forehead while the Out of Trouble mask was on my cheeks and chin. Love this mask!"

"I honestly thought this was going to be a pointless purchase and I was about to return it...Im so glad I didn't.
This is the product to buy!!! I have random breakouts (especially when I have exams for school and stress) and this product is actually the one that works the best for me out of all the origins products I own. I only use it when I see my face is getting out of control and I use it at night and the next day my face looks dramatically different, if you are anxious to use a product that WILL ACTUALLY SHOW YOU RESULTS ASAP ( like me), then this one is it.

I first wash my face with my cleanser
then use this mask (10 min) then rinse
and then go straight to my moisturizer
you dont need to use additional products with this other than a cleanser and moisturizer (dries up your face so moisturizer is a must).

hope this helps! you should at least ask for a sample and try it.
it won't disappoint."

"I absolutely love Origins products! This mask is no exception. I have decent combination skin but am prone to breakouts on my cheeks, chin, and in between my eyebrows. Whenever I notice a breakout starting to happen, I put this mask on first thing. I leave it on for the recommended 10 minutes and remove it with a warm wash cloth (I also hold the washcloth over the pimple(s) for a few minutes bc warm compresses help the swelling). After the mask I finish with the organics toner, the super spot treatment, and night-a-mins moisturizer. The next morning my breakout is usually 90% cleared/reduced. And the big ones aren't painful anymore! I was skeptical that this mask would work because I've tried everything from drugstore to dermatologist and this product just works - period! Give it a try!"

"I have very sensitive skin, and every couple years will go through periods of extreme irritability and breakouts. After graduating college my skin was a wreck, 10+ deep zits and acne scarring everywhere. In less than two weeks time using this product and the megabright serum I am down to 2 very tiny pimples and my scarring has reduced by around 50%. "I received a decent-sized sample of this product, and I have to say that it impressed me. I own another Origins mask, but I think this one best suits my skin type. I have recently started to break out, which is very unusual for me, but this mask definitely seemed to have helped. It smells deliciously minty (the smell isn't too strong, though), and provides a slight cooling sensation when you apply it. It made my skin feel very soft and refreshed after washing it off, and my skin is still soft and smooth the next day. I will definitely purchase this product after my sample runs out!"

"Hi! I am a 23 year old with really finicky combination skin and Origins rescued me! It began when I went into an Origins store with my mum to buy our usual foundations, which we love. She started using the makeup and then I followed suit, but we hadn't tried the skincare yet. When we were in the store, we were talking with the sales rep (who was super friendly and helpful) about my skin concerns. I've tried almost everything to get rid of my large pores and subsurface bumps/ blackheads. And I mean EVERYTHING: store boughts, dermo scripts, proactive, you name it, I've tried it. I started to think my bumps and discolorations and pores were going to endure for years, until I got older (and then have to worry about wrinkles instead). But! The sales rep gave me samples of Modern Friction (which is the first full size I bought), Checks and Balances and Out of Trouble, which is the most impressive of the three for my skin in terms of IMMEDIATE relief, although they all seem to work together. I can put Out of Trouble on my tough spots at night and let it sit until morning. When I wake up and wash it off, the spot is noticeably smaller and less red. If I spot treat for days, the pimples completely clear, even if they're painful and buried under the skin. Finally, I have found a product/ set of products that works for me. I could not be happier! I recommend this to everyone, especially those with sensitive combination skin like mine."

The Best Mask Ever for Oily/Sensitive Combo Skin

"I was hesitant to try this mask because I was worried it might irritate my skin. I have a combination of ooily and sensitive skin. My Origins consultant gave me a sample of this mask to test for irritation. I had been using the Charcoal mask and like that one as well. But I feel this one works significantly better for my skin concerns. It got rid of the icky patches other produts couldn't and made my skin so smooth and refreshed looking. I had a monster monthly pimple and it shrank it significantly overnight and removed all the redness from it. It also took away all the redness from my cheeks and nose. It's really great for pore minimizing too, even the stubborn big pores that nothing seemed to fix. I ended up loving it so much I went out and bought it as soon as my sample was gone. I hope it never gets discontinued. I can't live without it now!"

"I have extremely sensitive skin, and I periodically get cystic acne which becomes red, large and painful, but doesn't come to a head. As soon as I feel a pimple coming on, like say before my period, I put this mask on and within 15 minutes the zit is GONE! It's really amazing stuff. I know some people have mentioned that it smells like diaper cream, I disagree. This is coming from a mother of two young children. I think it could be compared more to a minty/menthol type smell. It's great, and I highly recommend it for when you feel yourself breaking out!"

Big Red Blemish No More!

"I first used this mask in high school, over ten years ago. Back then my skin was very oily and acne prone. Now I'm on the oily side of combination with mild acne, but my skin is also sensitive. This mask is just as miraculous now as it was when I was a teenager. It's excellent at managing mild to moderate breakouts, clearing pores (this is the only mask I've used that actually helps with my blackheads), and also soothing and brightening the skin. It immediately cools and softens; and, if you use it in the evening, you will wake up to clearer, calmer, more radiant skin. If you have skin like mine and can buy only one Origins product, make it this one."

"so at first when i started using this product, i was sampling it. i didnt think it was working because i couldn't see any visible change. i went to origins and got a facial, and they used this product on me again. this and the active charcoal mask. i never knew you could mix masks together, i had never done that because i had thought each mask had a specific purpose. so i tried another sample again. this time, i used the Dr. Weil mask for redness and sensitivity. i have naturally oily super sensitive skin, so right after i used that, i could feel it work because my face was tingling and burning a bit. as soon as the sensation stopped, i left the mushroom mask on, but i turned right around and threw on the out of trouble mask, and it cooled my face right down. i took it off after about 20 minutes, and one hour later (today) i came back, looked at my face. felt it. it was smooth, soft. no redness. no acne. no minor irritation, just my normal face, and i was happy with it. i would say this product works well with others :)"
