"I used this shampoo along with the the Knot Free Rinse many years ago & loved it. The shampoo has a fresh minty scent (it does not linger). I had forgotten about it, so in my search for a shampoo, I decided to try it again. I still love the scent and it has a light lather, but it makes my hair squeaky clean. If you don't mind that feel, then I would definitely recommend you try this shampoo. I think I will try the Ginger when I'm done with this."

"I love this shampoo. Have been using it for at least 10 years or more. I wish they would bring back the large bottle. It was so easy using the pump. You got the right amount each time. Washed out easily, no residue. I would highly recommend this shampoo to anyone."

"I live in a hot and dry climate and this is the only shampoo I use. I can use it everyday and it doesn't dry out my hair. It smells fresh and clean. It lathers very well and rinses easily. Everything about it is perfect."

"For some reason, I got away from this stuff. Not a good idea. I'm back and I'm glad. This shampoo smells great, wakes me up in the morning with its zing, and cleans my hair with one application. No more experimenting."

Great way to start the day

"The smell and tingle from the mint is a welcome way for me to break the morning fog.
It seems plenty gentle enough for daily use but, still very effective at cleansing previously applied hair products.
I deducted 1 star and would not recommend until Origins returns the larger pump dispenser. C'mon Origins, give us the pump bottle back!"

"I've used this shampoo for over 15 years and love it; however, I really dislike the current packaging . As a daily user, I use a lot of this stuff. The large plunger-style dispenser is much more convenient for me. As it is no longer available, I must now buy several bottles of the type in which the product is currently packaged and then go to the trouble of pouring them into my last remaining plunger-style dispenser. This is irritating and time-wasting.
Also, I find that the lid used on the current-style bottle is easier to drop than the lid previously used on the similar-sized container.
From time to time I try other shampoos that do come in larger dispensers or bottles, thinking that, should I find one I really like, I'll switch. So far, I haven't found another I like as well as yours, but I'll keep looking because going through the repackaging is not a good use of time."

"I loved using this as a shampoo but found it caused my hair color to wash out too soon. So instead I now use it as a body wash. Wow! It works really well and the peppermint adds a nice tingly sensation that makes me feel so fresh and clean when I step out of the shower! A very nice product."

Great Product, but not for dry and fine hair

"I love this product, but I have come to find it is not ideal for my hair type. I have extremely fine, dry, curly hair. This product cleans very well, produces a tingly sensation on your scalp and smells amazing--not to mention, a little goes a long way. I have been using one bottle for over a month now.
However--my hair tangles very easily and I rely on my conditioner to help smooth and untangle. The conditioner that pairs with this shampoo is very light and doesn't do much for my hair. Trying to get tangles out takes way too long and my hair isn't as moisturized afterwards as I would like.
That being said, I think that anyone with thicker hair less prone to dryness and tangling will LOVE this shampoo, especially if they shower everyday and just need something light."

"I never write reviews. Ever. I made this account simply to tell the world that this is the most amazing shampoo in the world. One bottle lasted me a whole month and i washed my hair every day. Its worth every single penny. My hair has never been more healthy or better smelling! And whats amazing is my hair would require me to wash it every day because it used to be oily, and this shampoo lets me go days without washing because my scalp is so CLEAN.

"Clear Head shampoo is the best I have ever used. It cleans hair and scalp perfectly. There is no residue or irritation only clean and shiny hair. The bad news is that it is only sold in small bottles. Please bring the 33oz. bottle back!"

"Like so many other reviewers, I have used this shampoo for years, and absolutely love it. But I add my voice to all the others who ask for the return of the 33 oz bottle. You probably discontinued it because you lost money on it, but why keep selling it in such environmentally insensitive containers? It goes against the grain of what your company is supposed to stand for. And I would like to think you are responsive to your customers. Please let me buy it in a responsible way."

Wonderful moisturizing shampoo

"WORTH EVERY PENNY. My hair tends towards dry frizziness at the ends while being oily at the scalp. No need to use conditioner (for my hair at least) with this shampoo - it strikes the perfect balance between moisturizing and clarifying. A tiny bit goes a long way, which helps with the value. Added to that, the smell is invigorating without being overpowering.
However, I tried the conditioner and it smelt really weird. Stick to this shampoo and you can't go wrong though!"

"Like others who have written I love this shampoo. It leaves my hair smelling good and my scalp feels clean. Both my husband and I use it along with the Knot Free rinse. My sister-in-law was also using this shampoo. I wrote over 1 year ago asking for the return of the big bottle which was a savings to both my wallet and the environment. I am waiting for the return to purchase it again. Please listen to your customers and bring back the big bottles."

CLEAR HEAD MINT SHAMPOO / KNOT FREE FINISHING RINS

"I absolutely love the Clear Head Mint Shampoo and the Knot Free finishing rinse - however I quit using them both when Origins decided to stop producing the large bottles. I am disappointed in a company that appears so "green" why would you want all those small bottles in our land fills. Please consider bringing them back!!"
